CE For this current year (2025 renewing into 2026)
  • You cannot duplicate the same course number 2 consecutive years (2 years in a row). Each Education Provider has different course numbers each year - so that should not be an issue.

Late CE For a previous year (2010 through 2024) - Late CE Courses
  • You cannot duplicate the same course number 2 consecutive years (2 years in a row). Each Education Provider has different course numbers each year - so that should not be an issue. Be advised - when looking at Late CE Courses check the course number, and the number list in parenthesis in the course title.
  • Once you complete your Late CE Course, NMLS will look up your record and post it to the correct year (2010-2024).

2025 CE Deadlines*

When you should finish your course to ensure it is issues on time by NMLS:

  • SMART Deadline: December 19th
  • At Risk to Miss Renewal Deadline: December 26th
  • Guaranteed to Miss Renewal Deadline: December 31st

So in summary - to be safe - complete your education prior to December 20th.
*Unless a State agency has an earlier deadline. See the State-specific education charts for details provided by NMLS.

When completing NMLS PE or CE courses, your course completion will be processed (credit banked) with NMLS. Completed courses cannot be processed the same day as completion (per NMLS). While NMLS allows up to 7 days, we process credit the next day after your course completion.
